Practicing day number 3 is over, and it has been a busy day again.
The local newspaper Journal Star was on our table when we arrived for the breakfeast.
By 8.30 am we were at the Peoria field. Bob Wilson and Jerry Smith waiting for us with a coffee machine, softs and home made cookies...
Jacques PLR and I had to drive to Champaign to get some more fuel from HORIZON Hobby.

Being so close we stopped at HOBBICO to visit FUTABA where Arthur Pesch welcomed us. A great opportunity for us to meet nice people we just knew the names, Bill Baxter, Krysta...
Meanwhile the guys had some visitors at the field..... but when back from our 4 hours trip to Champaign they were still practicing !!
They flew until 8pm. We went back to the hotel, had a shower, again the temperature during the day was exceeding 100 F, more than 39 degrees celsius, and then we had our diner at our favorite Italian restaurant Bernardi's.
